I think I'm going to be done school for good next week.

Right now I'm in a 4 year honours program, but this past semester I've despised school more than ever before, and it has caused me huge amounts of stress as a result. Levels of stress I've never, ever felt before.

So it looks like I'm just going to graduate this semester with a 3 year general degree. Given the subject I'm taking, there's nothing a 4 year degree would get me that a 3 year degree won't. That being nothing. So I figured there's no point in being miserable for another year and going into thousands of dollars in debt for something I despise and will get me nothng in the end. So yeah, I'm kinda excited to finally be done school, seeing as I've never really liked it.

The only downside of course, is now I only have 2 weeks to get everything dealt with. The biggest pain in the ass will be that the email adress I've used for the past 3 1/2 years will go bye-bye, so I'm going to have to scour the intarweb and change everything over.

I can't believe it, but at this point I'd much rather be working 9-5 than take one more class.

Peter,I totally know how you feel. I dropped out my junior year because I still had no idea what I wanted to do. I was just racking up student loans so I took a full time gig at Comcast repairing converters.
I didn't stop searching though. I knew I was interested in video production and was able to get on the job training at Comcast. Now I'm an editor at my own production company.

i hated school so much, i wanted to go to college and get my phd in psychology but OMG i hated school. then i wanted to go in the air force and be a pilot but my eyes kept me from that. it's hard motivating your kids to like school when you hated it. i motivate lil mort with softball and how far she can go with it to keep her happy. and my son.... he loves it, freak [img]wink.gif[/img]
i say do what you feel is right, it's hard to be good at something if you despise it!
